Appearance clean: After the end of work every day, use high pressure water gun or special cleaning agent to remove the dirt, dust and oil on the surface of the excavator, especially the chassis, body and working device, to keep the appearance of the machine clean, but also to facilitate the timely detection of potential parts damage or leakage problems.

Check fuel and lubricating oil: Check the amount of fuel in the fuel tank to ensure sufficient fuel, and check the quality of the fuel to prevent impurities or moisture from entering the fuel system. Check the lubricating oil level in the engine oil pan, hydraulic tank, gear box and other parts to ensure that the oil level is within the normal range, and observe whether the oil quality is good, if the oil quality is found to be bad or there are impurities, it should be replaced in time.

Check the coolant: Check the engine coolant level, the level should be between the upper and lower marks of the expansion tank. Check the concentration and quality of the coolant to ensure that it has good anti-freeze, anti-corrosion and heat dissipation properties, and add or replace the coolant if necessary.

Check the tire or track: for the tire excavator, check whether the tire pressure is normal, and whether the tire surface is damaged, cracked or embedded with foreign bodies. If there is an anomaly, it should be dealt with in time. Crawler excavators should check whether the tension of the track is appropriate, whether the track plate is worn, broken or loose, whether the chain pin is falling off, etc. If there is a problem, it should be adjusted or replaced in time.

Check the working device: check whether the connection parts of the digging bucket, boom, bucket rod and other working devices are loose, the wear of the pin and bushing, if loose, it should be fastened in time, and the parts with serious wear should be replaced in time. Check the wear degree of the bucket teeth. Excessive wear of the bucket teeth will affect the mining efficiency and should be replaced in time.
